Car crashes into retention pond in Volo — Aurora Community news

No injuries were reported after a car crashed into a retention pond early Saturday in Volo, officials report. The Wauconda Fire District responded to a call for a reported vehicle crash about 3:30 a.m. Saturday in Volo. A car crashed into a retention pond near Ellis Drive and Richard Brown Boulevard, according to a Wauconda Fire District Facebook post. The car was safely removed, and no injuries were reported. It is believed the crash happened as a “result of driver fatigue,” officials said in the post. “Please stay alert and practice safe driving,” officials said in the post.
